Don't give up the day job!
This is what happens when you have a 9 year old watching in the background, and loose with a camera. We had a flat tyre leaving Valley of the Queens and what better way to fill in our time............press the play button
Egypt Testimonials
Thankyou Christina,
You have always inspired me with your
determination, courage, discipline to follow your intuition,
path and love for what you do work wise. For
some of us that does not always come clearly or
obviously (me for one - but it's got clearer since
egypt, thank you) and maybe for you at times. But
the gut always tells you what is!
Spoke with Chantal this morning (she's gorgeous),
and we both noticed how much more 'of the faith'
we are since egypt - not allowing drama or ego's affect how we are. She thinks we are still drunk from the energy - and maybe so - but I love 'this' being drunk!!!! It's a wonderful feeling. Had a 15min reading on Easter Friday - came out of nowhere, really strange but went with intuition, and
Melchizedek came thru very clearly, saying my higher purpose to be happy, have no fear, be the
example of my beliefs - and not worry what others think or say - they are getting what they need. And asked me if I had recognised the miracles in my life - AND YES I HAVE!! So trust and create more!! There are miracles to come. To meditate with crystal pyramids, did I have one (YES the alabaster one Ashraf gave us all), and my energy has highly evolved w!
Some was to do with Egypt. Things were moved so I could make the trip and protected all they way - had I noticed?? AND I DID!!! I am noticing how much I have cleared in toxicity of the physical and mental states. And feel healthier than I have ever felt.
Thank you Christina for all that you do.

Thankyou so much for everything you and Ashraf did for us in Egypt, I really got a lot out of it. I've been having some amazing dreams which are telling me to do more spititual things.

Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut
The Valley of the Kings is known as the Place of Truth, and so we access the energies of such a powerful place to awaken to our own Truth, our Personal Truth and our Spiritual Truth. For the first time we combined all chakras in relation to awakening fully to our Truth and being able to communicate such with ease and clarity. We headed out to the Valley of the Kings (place of Truth). We meditated on awakening to our Truth outside one of the closed tombs in a shady spot and then moved on to Hatshepsut Temple where we meditated in the shade against the walls of the Temple for World Peace. (she wasknown as the queen of Peace).
From the beginning of the New Kingdom (c.1550-c.1069), kings were no longer buried in pyramids in the north of Egypt but in tombs cut into the cliffs of the Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile at Thebes (Luxor). During this period the King was regarded as god and the walls of the royal tombs are covered with scenes depicting the pharaoh in the company of the gods on his journey through the Underworld and finally united with them in paradise. It was therefore natural that the Valley of the Kings should have been regarded as one of the most sacred sites of the Two Lands.
For the Ancient Egyptians death was not the end but the entrance into eternal life and those who could afford to spent the greater part of their adult life preparing for it. Soon after becoming King the pharaoh would begin work on his tomb, where his transfiguration, resurrection and final union with the gods would take place.
Queen Hatshepsut was the female Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty (c.1473-1458BC). It was unusual for a woman to rule for a period of over 20 years because normally women only ruled when there was no male heirs to the throne. Women were usually omitted from the Kinglists because it was not what the Egyptians called maat or the correct order of things as laid out by the Gods at the time of creation.
Hatshepshut was the daughter of Tuthmosis I and she was married to her half-brother, Tuthmosis II. When he died the only heir was his very young son Tuthmosis III, to a secondary wife, so Hatshepsut reined for about 7 years and then proclaimed herself King and ruled alongside her stepson for a further 14 years. Their joint rein was a highly successful one where Tuthmosis III would undertake military campaigns while Hatshepsut would maintain Royal Authority at home. She was known as the Pharaoh of Peace and was buried in the Valley of the Kings. Part of her Temple is dedicated to Hathor who is very big in the West Bank.
On way back we visited the Al Shahrazad Alabaster Factory to see how Ancient Egyptians made their jars, and we purchased some wares for memory's sake.

DESERT DAWNING
March 16, 2007
Entering into the desert.
Day 1 of the course we got up at sunrise dressed in galibeyas and headed out to the desert by camel. We weren’t’ heading anywhere in particular just to find a good spot for the first meditation on Activating the Solar Cross of Global Change. There were 12 of us taking part plus the two boys and Ashraf to give us the balance of the masculine. We stopped at a Coptic Christian Monastery nestled in the desert on route to our spot behind the mountains. With coffins laying around symbolising the death of the old ways, with their lids open implying resurrection into the new life We entered into the monastery grounds and into the Church. It was a very peaceful space and the Nuns that live here surely representing dedication to their own path back to the God force.
Back on to the camels and on a little further into the desert. We stopped behind the mountains and settled into a nice shady spot to meditate. It was the 3rd of March my birthday and the eve of LUXOR Light birthday. The group that chose to be a part of this had said yes to become all that they can be, and chose to take part in a workshop that would assist them into stepping into empowerment. Becoming empowered does not come without challenges, and without testing the balance within. Learning to hold your hold your space within the chaos, being non judgemental and recognising that the buttons that are pushed within you are only reflections of your own imperfections. Honouring the process that others must go through in order to come to their place of empowerment as each participant steps up a little more and a little more. One may expect participation in these workshops to be absolute bliss at every moment, but while the workshop time itself may bring these states, the time outside of participating in the meditations can bring the absolute opposite. We are wanting to be a part of Global Change, and this is an enormous task. Enormous tasks take enormous training and sometimes enormous opportunities to see how we can hold our balance in amongst the chaos. Each of us were given the opportunity to trial our strength, integrity in what we believe in and witness the amount of judgement, compassion, and dedication that we hold within our chakras. The concepts that are needed to become the leader of the new era were ever constantly showing themselves in either gifts or challenges. How each participant handled them can only be felt by the individual and I know for myself the more I step into the Global arena, the more challenges rise up to meet me and my strength is tested every step of the way.

This particular day we were working with the frequencies of the Christ and also the frequencies of Sirius,(the original home of the Christ) to assist us with the Transition Stage of moving consciousness from one reality or frequency to another. We were focussing on setting the foundations for powerful change both personally and globally so we may step into the era of Truth. We found our place at the foot of the mountains and set up a LUXOR Light symbol incorporating the Star of David with the stones of the desert and sat in communion with the Christ and the Magdalene and surrounded by the Ashtar Command who guided and protected us throughout our journey. We then travelled back to Luxor by camel ready to celebrate that evening the birthday of LUXOR Light.
It is only now on reflection that I can see the enormity in it, and understand all the challenges and obstacles that presented themselves to me from the time I arrived in Egypt in January until the completion of the group work. I understand the lessons and the achievements and am happy with the outcome of this journey and look forward to the next. I am now settled and feeling at home and actually have time to chill out. .

SETTLING IN TO EGYPT
So much has transpired since my arrival in Egypt. We manifested a centre for LUXOR Light, but I had been pre warned to be careful what I ask for, because I will get it and it may not be the right time for it to happen. It seemed to be the answer to many prayers when Ashraf’s sister gave me the opportunity to set up the LUXOR Light centre from her hotel. However, she didn’t really understand what a healing centre was and really she wanted the place to be a hotel. It all became too difficult to interpret and with the communication breakdown and other obstacles, we moved on and took the group to another location for the duration of the workshop. I was lucky enough to have been contacted by someone just before I left Australia who gave me the contact of an Irish woman with a centre called the “Flower of Light Centre”, and as it turned out we relocated there until the course was complete.
I have now relocated to Ashraf’s village in El Qurna and am settling in to village life.
The group completed their 6 day intensive workshop/tour and have mossied on to Israel. Originally I was to go to Israel and then members of the group asked if they could join me. But, as it turns out it is not time for me to go once again, and I have chosen to stay behind in Egypt to get settled into life here and set up home so I can relax into the way of life and get on with my work.
The workshop become a spiritual tour of Ancient Egyptian sacred sites incorporating LUXOR Light activations and clearings, and it worked fantastically! I’m looking forward to running more of these tours in order to bring LUXOR Light to the world outside of Australia.
There have been many challenges to the settling in to Egypt, but really it appears to be no different to what is happening to all of us in some way or another. I have listened to the processes of the individuals that were a part of the group here in Luxor, and some through emails and see that really we are all stepping into a major place of change incorporating strength and commitment to our purpose. One day at a time is what it takes, and certainly a valued exercise in learning to be in the NOW.
For me challenges are very rarely of the spiritual order but more about being able to adjust to life on this amazing planet… being human in fact. I am certainly not without ego for if I were I would not need to be here. I’ve had many opportunities to witness my ego of late and while I would prefer not to, she/he is a fantastic teacher. A very valued participant in my first year of teaching colour therapy once used the saying “don’t confuse the message with the messenger”. I’ve always remembered this and have been amused at times to see how many people confuse me (the messenger) with the message, I certainly have a façade that is hard to see through at times. Personality plus, or ego plus, it really doesn’t matter how you term it, but I have one just like everyone else, and I thank the Creator for that, because there is so much to learn through it.
I’ve been so preoccupied with setting up the centre and writing the new work for the group and then being with them, that I haven’t had time for blog entries so let’s hope I can now get back to the order of the day and keep you all up to date and informed with the new energies filtering through LUXOR Light.
I have no idea how long I can stay in Egypt, but given that my life’s work is complete in Australia, I really hope to be able to manage to stay here. I guess it is just another challenge that I really hope I can conquer. I love this place, it is so magical, so real and yet unreal, so easy and yet so hard. I love the people, especially the villagers where I am staying, and Ashraf’s family. This is my fifth trip in the last 2 years and of course the longest stay. I’ve been here now for 2 months and yet if feels like I’ve been here forever. The experiences/challenges have been constant and yet they just strengthen me more and more. Ashraf, Taylor and I work really well together although Taylor (my 9 year old son) does miss his home and wants to return to the comforts and modern technology of which I was hoping to steer him away from for a little while. However, he has become the full bottle on Ancient Egypt and was a great little source of information for myself and the group as we visited the tombs and temples of Luxor….a budding little Egyptologist and photographer!
Two of LUXOR Light’s trainee teachers have stayed on here with me and also staying at Ashraf’s. One, Sue Smith from the UK is doing some one on one to with me prepare her for the step into facilitating workshops in the UK, and Riana because she can!
Who knows what the next chapter for LUXOR Light is and how it will pan out, all I know is I am ready and I am sure I am strong enough, but can I pull it off????
Many many blessings of LUXOR Light to you all…..
